We, at Webster City and Story City RV, have put our heads together to come up with an agenda which appeals to all ages. This year’s rally will be called Rain or Shine; It’ll be fine!!   We will have the DNR naturalist presenting a short program at 7 p.m. followed by a dessert Meet&Greet to kick the weekend off Friday evening.  We will cap the evening with a night around the fire where not only is the fire kindling, but a great way to rekindle acquaintances and kindle friendships. Saturday morning will start off with Rod not only providing, but preparing, an all-u-can eat pancake breakfast at the store. We will meet under the tent again Saturday afternoon for a “tech talk” where we welcome campers to share learning experiences with one another as well as any useful tidbits others can adapt when they are camping. Saturday afternoon the kids can enjoy a Frisbee golf course and water games. This year we are thrilled to have professional caterers, Galen and Kathy Rasmussen, camping with us who have agreed to prepare Saturday evening’s main entrée, smoked baby-back ribs or brisket, which will be complimented with a dish of each camper’s choice. As we have learned from previous potlucks, it would be wonderful to have each dish accompanied with its recipe so others may create it in the future. We will be entertained with the music of a regional musician Saturday evening. We will end the evening with relaxing around the fire. We invite everyone to share ideas you have to help this be a fun-filled event and join us in the planning process as this whole weekend is designed for you, our customer.
